'Coyote Journal' Excerpt:
Alumni BoD President, Dee Grimm, announced a
“Group-Diamondbacks” game proposal. It will take a minimum of 20
attending to qualify for a group admission rate.” Dee shares
that a home game for a group will be planned for June, July,
or August. Dee has asked that any Alumni interested should
e-mail Dee as soon as possible.

7th St. Clean up Volunteer photos are now in the

Center" section.

Phoenix Union High School Established in 1895.
.
The the
first student body numbered 90 students. The school was held
in the old Central School building on the second floor,
which later became approximately the San Carlos Hotel
property.
.
After two years the District was authorized by the voters to
purchase the old Churchill residence at 5th Street and Van
Buren for PUHS at a cost of $15,000. In 1898 the first
classes were held at that site.
